WindSpace was founded by Rune Blæsbjerg, Flemming Engelstoft and Jens Elton Andersen. With experience in the Wind-, IT-, Project development- and Financial sectors, the founders bring together all the key competencies required to realize the next generation of profitable wind projects.

Rune Blæsbjerg - During his 10 years at Vestas, Rune’s responsibilities included project leader- ship, site management and service management. During a 4 year period this included the development of the service and project organization in Japan. In the last 3 years, Rune has been actively involved in the development of Danservice A/S – a leading provider of maintenance for wind turbines, while also being a founding partner in Wind- Space ApS. Over the years, Rune has participated in wind park projects totaling more than 500 turbines across Europe, Japan and China.

Jens Elton Andersen - A career in the finance sector, working for Danske Bank and Nordea during 15 years, combined with a Chartered Financial Analyst education, gave Jens the perfect foundation to join WindSpace as a partner in 2007. Today Jens focuses on finance, financial management and the valuation of wind park projects. At the same time, his work is dedicated to keeping our investors constantly well-informed about our current performance and our expectations for both the short and long term future.

Flemming Engelstoft - After 20 years in the IT sector, working for IBM and i2 Technologies, Flemming brings a wealth of business development, general management and project management experience. With a deep understanding of new technology Flemming plays an active role in evaluating new technologies and partnership opportunities. With experience from leading S&P500 companies Flemming is also fluent in the contractual agreements with our broad range of suppliers and partners. As founding partner, Flemming has developed his experience in the wind energy sector since 2006.
